1 First-time setup ▾
  1. Plug the SEND-A-SAUR USB into your PC.
  2. Open the drive and double-click SEND-A-SAUR (or run INSTALL.bat the very first time — it sets up the helper and a shortcut).
  3. The app window opens with Steggy walking around and a QR code ready.
💡 The first launch validates your license over the internet, then caches it — after that it works offline.
2 Connect your phone ▾
  1. Make sure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi as the PC.
  2. Click the QR icon in the app's top bar, then scan it with your phone's camera.
  3. Tap the link to open the companion page. Choose Add to Home Screen for an app-like icon.
💡 Got more than one SEND-A-SAUR on the network? Each one shows its name on your phone (e.g. “→ Living Room PC”) so you always know which you're connected to.
3 Send & receive files ▾
  1. PC → phone: drag files onto the app window. They appear on your phone instantly — tap to save.
  2. Phone → PC: tap “Tap to send files”, pick anything, and it lands in your PC's shared folder.
  3. Tap the dino icon (or shared-files button) on the PC to open the folder where everything is stored.
💡 Files are colour-coded by type and show a live thumbnail for photos and videos.
4 Camera burst mode ▾
  1. On the phone, tap the 📷 camera icon in the top bar.
  2. Tap the shutter as many times as you like — the preview never freezes between shots.
  3. Pick your flow: “Send when I'm done” queues every photo for one batch send, or flip to “Send each shot” to fire them off the instant you take them.
💡 Live in-app camera needs a secure connection (the Remote Access tunnel, or localhost). On plain Wi-Fi the app falls back to your phone's normal camera, one shot at a time.
5 Remote access (away from home) ▾
  1. On the PC, open Settings → Remote Access and set a 4–6 digit PIN.
  2. Flip Enable remote access on. A secure tunnel starts and a new QR appears.
  3. Scan it from anywhere. Your phone asks for the PIN, then connects just like at home.
💡 Three wrong PINs blocks that network for 15 minutes — other devices keep working. If the tunnel hiccups, it reconnects itself automatically.
6 Skins & the shop ▾
  1. Tap the 🛍️ shop icon on the phone to browse dino skins.
  2. Buy a pack — checkout opens right inside the page (powered by Stripe), no redirect.
  3. Your new skin saves to the USB drive and unlocks on every device that connects to it.
💡 Green is free forever. Skins are tied to your USB, not an account — so there's nothing to lose if you switch phones.
7 Updates ▾
  1. When a new version is out, a banner appears at the top of the PC app.
  2. Click Update — it downloads and you click Install.
  3. No internet on the PC? It can pull the update through your connected phone's data and hand it over via Wi-Fi.
